(1) Material difference
Medical protective clothing is usually made of composite materials. At present, polythene flash nonwovens and spunbonded/melt blown/spunbonded (SMS) or spunbonded/melt blown/Spunbonded (SMMS) nonwovens are widely used in combination with microporous films. The disposable isolation garment is made of single layer plastic film with simple process and low cost.
(2) Scope of application
The medical protective clothing is to prevent the infection of medical staff. It belongs to one-way isolation and mainly applies to medical staff. The isolation clothes are not only to prevent medical staff from being infected, but also to prevent patients from being infected, which is a two-way isolation.
(3) Protection scope
Medical protective clothing refers to the medical protective articles worn by clinical medical staff when they come into contact with infectious diseases of Class A or according to the management of class A infectious diseases; Isolation garments are protective equipment used by medical personnel to avoid exposure to contamination with blood, body fluids and other infectious substances or to protect patients from infection.
